President & Owner
Oscar's passion for seeing kids build their dreams on the soccer field is only second to his faith and family. Oscar brings to our academy a wealth of contacts and connections in the professional soccer world. If your child dreams of playing professionally, then you are in the right place. Oscar is a Lay Minister for his church in Angleton, Texas.

Joel McKinnon
Academy Director & Vice President
Coach Joel McKinnon is the Founder and Director of Coaching for Pursuit FC. Joel, through Pursuit FC, runs OJL Soccer Academy and serves as our Academy Director. He holds Four National Coaching Licenses, including a National Goalkeeping License, through the US Soccer Federation along with almost 40 years of coaching experience. He has helped hundreds of athletes to earn collegiate scholarships and focuses on the holistic development of athletes. He is also a coach for ODP (Olympic Development Program) under South Texas Youth Soccer Association. He also serves as the Lead Pastor for a church in Angleton, TX. His passion for soccer and developing youth are evident.

Jesus Alfaro
Lead Trainer
Training on the academy side is provided by Coach Jesus Alfaro ("El Gato"), a retired professional soccer player who has trained players to reach new levels of athleticism and soccer success at all levels possible. His time as a professional player included him playing both goalie and as a field player.
